Unlike other photography & marketing companies, I've been deeply rooted in the wine industry since 2010. This extensive industry experience means that I intimately understand the nuances and intricacies of wine, allowing me to tell your brand's story like no one else can. Craft & Cluster offers both exceptional photography and social media marketing services for wineries under one roof.

Our Team

Heather Daenitz

Founder | Photographer | Social Media Consultant
📍SANTA YNEZ VALLEY

I am the founder and photographer of Craft & Cluster, a photography and social media consulting company focusing on brands in the wine industry!

I have worked in the wine industry for over thirteen years, variously in tasting rooms, cellars, shipping departments, and vineyards. I even have a degree in Viticulture from Oregon State University!

It was while working for a vineyard management company in Santa Barbara County that I rediscovered my love of photography and found a previously unknown interest in social media management.

I was asked to start an Instagram account to showcase the practices of the company and decided that if I was going to do this social media thing, I was going to do it right; opting to only post high-quality, original images that told a story.

After almost two years of photographing and learning everything I could about social media management, I decided it was time I created my own business.

I wanted to help wineries create beautiful imagery that would tell the stories behind their brands. Thus, Craft & Cluster was born!

Now, when I'm not out photographing the amazing people behind some of my favorite wine brands, I'm hangin' in my backyard with my three chickens, two dogs, and wonderful husband!

Alex Collier

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER | PHOTO ASSISTANT
📍SANTA YNEZ VALLEY

With six years of social media marketing experience and a fashion marketing background, Alex brings a unique blend of skills to our team.

Originally from Santa Ynez Valley, Alex explored the world of fashion and holds degrees in Merchandise Product Development and Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in LA and CSU Long Beach. Afterward, a stint as a marketing coordinator in Long Beach showcased early marketing prowess.

A twist of fate brought Alex back to our beloved valley, where a brief detour allowed for exploration in local craft beer and natural foods. This experience ignited a newfound appreciation for the region, its outstanding wine, craft beer, and delectable cuisine.

Now armed with extensive knowledge in social media marketing, Alex is an invaluable part of the Craft and Cluster family. Beyond hashtags and likes, Alex is a passionate animal lover and enjoys time with friends and family, creative hobbies like embroidery and crochet, and a few rounds of Mario Kart.

Dria Butler

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
📍Sonoma County

After studying viticulture & enology at UC Davis, Dria found that drinking wine and marketing wine was her dream career. She's been working in digital marketing with an emphasis on direct-to-consumer since 2018.

Dria brings a deeply rooted passion for wine and an understanding of the industry to bridge the gap between wine marketing & winemaking.

Dria's worked in Perth, Western Australia, studied winemaking in Dijon, France, and explored the whole wine world - now living and flourishing in Sonoma County, with hopes of moving back to her hometown of Seattle, WA in the future.

She loves an em dash — since she's never mastered the semi-colon. As a consumer, she's obsessed with good branding, small producers, innovative marketing, and Lambrusco. Her favorite wine region is Margaret River. She spends time with her sweet pup, Frankie, who loves NYT Cooking and romance novels.
