It's that time of year again! Harvest is a wild and exciting time, and you deserve awesome photos that reflect all the hard work you put into crafting your wine. This contact form is specifically for those requesting a harvest photoshoot.

Please note that sessions are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. I cannot guarantee that I'll be available for your pick date. I require at least 48-hour notice for your photoshoot. If you are more than 60 miles outside of Santa Maria, California, please give at least 72-hour notice.

See some of my harvest work below!

From night picks to cellar movements, I can capture it all for you! I've worked in the wine industry for over a decade, variously in vineyards and cellars, so I know how to tell the true story of how you get your wine from grape to glass

(and I know how to do it safely too!)

FAQ

How Long Should I book you for?

It depends on what you'd like photographed. If you just want photos of a night harvest, I recommend an hour. If you want photos of night pick + sunrise, then two hours is usually sufficient. If you'd like me to follow the fruit down to the winery to photograph processing, then I'd recommend anywhere between 3-5 hours to really capture the whole story.

If you feel like you need more than one session. I do offer special retainer rates of 15% off my current photosession rates if you commit to 3+ photosessions within 12 months.

What is the investment?

My rates for 2026 are as follows:
1 Hour | 20 images | $800
3 Hours | 60 images | $1600
5 Hours | 100 images | $2650

I also offer 15% off my current rates if you commit to three or more photosessions in 12 months.

Do you do video?

I am still learning videography. Right now, I am happy to capture a few clips on my iPhone, camera, and/or drone for you to use on social media, but for anything more high-production, I am happy to provide a list of cinematographers who will do a much more thorough job than I can right now.

Do you offer drone photography and videography?

Yes! I am an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certified Pilot.

What's your coffee order?

You are so sweet! I like decaf lattes with whole milk (yes, all of this pep and moxy is entirely my own and not artificially created by caffeine)

Also, you didn't ask, but I really like maple bars.

Are you booking photoshoots outside of Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo Counties?

I am taking a break from travelling for photoshoots in 2026 and possibly in 2027 as I adjust to being a mom to a very cute baby. If a travel opportunity comes up in the future I will make it known on my Instagram, @craftandcluster

In the meantime, I am happy to share a list of photographers who may be local to you or willing to travel.

How long does it take for you to deliver my photos?

My promised turnaround time is two weeks, but I often deliver images faster. If you have a specific deadline, let me know, and I will do my best to get them to you sooner. If you require guaranteed delivery within 2 business days, a small rush fee applies.

Do you photograph night picks during harvest?

I love photographing night picks! You really only need me out there for about an hour unless you're aiming for sunrise over the vineyard, in which case I'd recommend two hours.

Anything else I should consider?

If you want me to photograph in the vineyard, I recommend doing that earlier in the season when the vines still look lush and green if at all possible. Later in the season, vines often start looking a bit ragged, so be aware of that when you're thinking about timing.

Conversely, crush pad photo sessions are often more productive in mid harvest when you have a few things already in tank, that way we can get a lot of different actions in a single session: punch downs/pumpovers, pressing, destemming, sorting, tank digs, barrelling down, cleaning, etc.

Also an important reminder: I offer a 15% discount on my current rates if you commit to 3+ photosessions in 12 months. You could, for example, use a one hour photoshoot early in the season for night harvest and then a thre hour photoshoot in mid harvest to get crush pad photos, then use another one hour photo session in spring to photograph bottling or lifestyle photos in the tasting room.
